North American League of Legends will resume with the 2023 LCS Summer Split starting on June 14.
UPDATE: The start of the Summer Split got delayed for two weeks when Riot decided to postpone the league due to the LCSPA player walkout. The parties eventually reached an agreement, with the new starting day for LCS set as June 14. Due to the two weeks lost from the schedule, LCS decided to add one more day to each week.
Riot just announced the dates for the LCS Summer Split, which will run between June 1 and July 21, which is only ten days after the MSI 2023 Finals. Just like Spring, LCS will continue to be played on Thursdays and Fridays, with Superweeks (Weeks 4 and 8) starting a day earlier on Wednesdays. Games will start at 2 p.m. PST as usual.
The LCS Summer Playoffs will kick off on July 27, leading to a Finals Weekend on August 19-20 held at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The tickets for the regular season in the Riot Games Arena are on sale starting May 16, while the Finals Weekend tickets will be available for purchase on June 1.
All ten LCS teams will compete for three Worlds 2023 spots and a fourth spot in the Worlds Qualifying Series, a new event that will bring LCS and LEC fourth seeds face to face, as well as the title of LCS Champions.
