| Author Competitive Scene
Eight teams are left at Worlds 2026 after the Swiss stage ended on October 31: three from the LCK, three from the LPL, one from the LEC and one from the LCS. The quarterfinals are best-of-five series from November 3 to 6. Timesaver.gg is the only outlet we found with the full Swiss results and pairings, so the table below is attributed to it. A bo3.gg headline also lists TOP Esports against Invictus Gaming as a quarterfinal.
Quarterfinal schedule
| Date | Match | Regions | Swiss records |
|---|---|---|---|
| November 3 | TOP Esports vs Invictus Gaming | LPL vs LPL | 3-1 and 3-1 |
| November 4 | Gen.G vs LYON | LCK vs LCS | 3-0 and 3-2 |
| November 6 | T1 vs Karmine Corp | LCK vs LEC | 3-1 and 3-2 |
| Not stated | Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming | LCK vs LPL | 3-0 and 3-2 |
The source lists series on November 3, 4 and 6 and does not say when Dplus KIA play Bilibili Gaming. It gives no start times, so ET and Paris times are not included here.
How the eight got through
Gen.G and Dplus KIA went 3-0. T1, Invictus Gaming and TOP Esports finished 3-1. Karmine Corp, LYON and Bilibili Gaming each needed a 3-2 record, and all three won their deciding Round 5 series on October 31: Karmine Corp beat Movistar KOI 2-0, LYON beat LOS 2-1 and Bilibili Gaming beat Hanwha Life Esports 2-0.
The Round 4 series on October 30 sent out two more teams. LOS beat Team Liquid Alienware 2-1 and Hanwha Life Esports beat G2 Esports 2-0, which left both losers at 1-3.
The pairings guarantee one thing already: TOP Esports against Invictus Gaming is an all-LPL series, so at least one LPL team will be in the semifinals. The other three series each put an LCK team against a non-LCK opponent. Invictus Gaming reached 3-1 by beating LYON 2-1 on October 28, and TOP Esports reached 3-1 by beating Bilibili Gaming 2-1 on October 29, which means two of the three LPL quarterfinalists had already met in the Swiss stage.
Who is out
Movistar KOI, LOS and Hanwha Life Esports finished 2-3. Team Liquid Alienware, G2 Esports and CTBC Flying Oyster went 1-3, and Team Secret Whales and Anyone’s Legend went 0-3. That leaves no LCP or CBLOL team in the quarterfinals.
Road ahead
The semifinals are on November 7 and 8, and the final is on November 14 in Brooklyn, New York, according to Timesaver.gg. Results and standings are on our Worlds tracker, with the Swiss-stage story in our earlier Swiss preview and all dates in the esports calendar.
