Unicorn Overlord is one of the hottest new tactical JRPGs on Steam, and this complete Romance guide details how to marry your favorite character and lists all the romance options available in the game.
Developed by Vanillaware, Unicorn Overlord contains a diverse list of characters, and like most recent role-playing games, the Japanese RPG offers the option to build relationships with in-game characters and also marry one of them in the game.
Marrying a certain character in Unicorn Overlord involves a multi-step process that you need to complete. Firstly, you need to build your rapport with that certain character, and complete several specific quests to obtain the Ring of Maiden.
The Ring of Maiden serves as the marriage proposal ring that’ll help you marry your favourite character from the available romance options.
Afterward, you need to travel to the Altar in Palevia from where you can successfully ask for your favourite character’s hand in marriage by offering them the Ring of Maiden.

How to Build Rapport in Unicorn Overlord
In order to marry a specific character, you need to establish Rapport with them. Only the character that you’ve maximized your Rapport with will appear in the list of options available to marry later on. There are multiple ways to build and maximize rapport with certain characters in Unicorn Overlord.
Share a meal in the Tavern
One of the fastest ways to maximize your Rapport level with any character to share meals with them at a Tavern. Taverns are marked with a ‘beer and food’ icon in the Overworld map. Specific meals at the Tavern will grant the player with 100 rapport.
Give Gifts
Gifts can be purchased from any of the Provisioners in the game or from a Black Market Dealer. Provisioners can be found in several places inside each town. Fans should note that gifts can only be given when the characters are stationed as guards outside buildings and locations. Each character likes different gifts, and the rapport will be awarded more or less according to the gift given which matches the preference of the characters.
Join them in combat
Pick the specific character you want to build rapport in your battle unit. Upon every successful combat, you will gain a little rapport with them. Rapport will build up over time the more battles you fight with them in your unit. While this is an effective way of building Rapport with your character without using any in-game currency, it is also, undoubtedly, the slowest.
