The video game behemoth Fortnite has been collaborating with different media over its lifespan. These are the top anime skins in Fortnite right now
Fortnite has collaborated with some of the most popular animes recently. This has led to the game getting multiple playable anime characters.
Is it weird that characters with godlike abilities, like Goku, use guns to kill people? Yes.
Is it awesome to see Goku fight Naruto using the nastiest Kamehameha? Also yes.
This list comprises the most wacky skins added to the game. While they’re goofy, they’re fun to play with and look fabulous in the game.
The Top Anime Skins in Fortnite
The game has had four significant collaborations so far:
- Naruto
- Dragon Ball
- My Hero Academia
- Jujutsu Kaisen
Each of these animes has brought forward multiple new playable characters. All of the new skins add up to a total of 31. We shall be looking at the top ten only.
10. Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa Ackerman from the Attack on Titan series is one of the most well-known anime characters of modern times. Fortnite did her justice by adding her near perfection. She sports her Scout Regiment uniform with the option of adding their signature cape if required. The character also comes equipped with the series' ODM gear and the show's iconic swords. Mikasa is seen showing off her characteristic non-expressive look. Just don’t use the emotes if you don’t want her to break character.
9. Itachi Uchiha
The tragic Uchiha, Itachi, was added to the game as a surprise to no one due to his popularity. Itachi comes to the party with two different outfits. Each outfit represents a different side of the iconic character. One shows the awe-inspiring older brother and protector of his village. The other represents the Akatsuki member, a cold-blooded murderer with a dark secret.
Both the skins have extraordinary details that would make any fan of Naruto instantly pick up the game.
8. Katsuki Bakugo
The explosive expert Bakugo joins Fortnite, bringing forth two variations of his hero outfit. One of the outfits is from when he was an intern, and the other is when he got closer to becoming a full-fledged hero. Bakugo’s character model is also done surprisingly well in the game. His slim but slightly muscular physique is framed perfectly in the game. He also fits in perfectly with Fortnite's world, as he already carries massive grenades on his arms.
7. Kakashi Hatake
Kakashi is a fan-favorite character in Naruto. From his cool design to his personality, everything about him screams charm. Fortnite banked on this cool design aspect and created one of the best looks for the character. Kakashi looks exactly like he does in the anime, although he lost a few pounds during his journey to Fortnite. Kakashi also comes with two Anbu ninja outfits- one with the Anbu mask and one without. Both of them add to the mystique of Kakashi’s true identity.
6. Itadori Yuji
The main character of Jujutsu Kaisen is done perfectly in the game. Itadori brings forth his school uniformed look. He looks almost exactly as he does in the show. Additionally, his cell-shaded look adds to his overall appeal.
5. Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto was the pioneer of anime skins in Fortnite. It would be impossible to list the best skins without including the one who always believes it would be impossible. Naruto's look is perfectly represented in the game. His character is modeled ideally, taking into account all his unique proportions. Additionally, he has two styles. The young ninja look and his modern 7th Hokage look.
4. Frieza
Frieza was added to the game with the other Dragon Ball characters. Unlike most of his other roster, he was modeled perfectly into the game. Not only was he given three variants, all of which look equally menacing, but the emperor of the universe was also shorter than the other characters. The short stature is very accurate to his character in the show. Frieza is one character that can be imagined with a gun as well: he leads an army of alien soldiers, after all.
3. Lord Beerus
Beerus currently has the best Dragon Ball design in the game. His bony stature is perfectly represented in the game. His face model also looks extremely cat-like, an iconic part of Beerus’s look. He does not have alternate styles, but the one style he does have is fantastic. All of Beerus’s ornaments are also modeled to perfection.
2. Gojo Satoru
Gojo, the strongest character from Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK), gets an extraordinary portrayal in Fortnite. He comes in his regular shaded look but can also take them off to reveal his thousand eyes. His character model also fits in perfectly in the game. He looks like he made his way straight to the world of Fortnite. All JJK characters also get their show’s magic-infused fists in the game. This magic effect adds more to Gojo’s overall look.
Additionally, he is one of the only characters in the game who can pull off all the emotes due to his quirky nature in his anime.
1. All Might
The number 1 hero in the My Hero Academia universe is our number 1 pick for the list. He looks perfect in the game. The game, by far, has the best version of the character in any game. All Might has a character model perfectly shaped to represent his colossal physique. It also comes with base All Might form as well.
The character model makes him look like the actual muscle head he is. Adding to that, he can also carry UA Academy’s principal on his back, adding to the charm of the skin.
Honorable Mentions:
- Goku – Has 4 different unique costume styles. Did not make the top ten because his stature is not accurately represented in the game.
- Cell – Great skin, but the other ones are better
- Levi – Perfect but too tall to be accurate
Conclusion:
The game offers numerous anime skins. These are the best among the bunch. Most of the other skins are moderately good or look a little weird.
