Earlier today at EVO 2019, Tom Cannon confirmed that Riot Games is currently developing a fighting game. Cannon is a founder of EVO as well as an employee of Riot Games. In 2016, Riot Games acquired Radiant Entertainment, who is known for creating the game “Rising Thunder.” Though this was two years ago, there has been no public news of developments within this acquisition. Finally, we know what they've been up to all this time.

The details about this new game are sparse. It is possible they'll make it a spin-off of their most popular game, League of Legends, but it could also be a totally new game. It's also possible that this could be a sequel to Rising Thunder. It's very up in the air.
Cannon himself refused to say anything else about the project during this talk show. There was no further explanation about the game or when any announcements would be made about it either. All we know is that the “s” in Riot Games will have a purpose at long last.
