Ironmouse is the most followed English-speaking vtuber on Twitch's platform, with 1.7 million followers. She began her streaming career in 2017 because of being bored and lonely. Ironmouse has Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID), a condition or disorder that affects the immune system and causes the bearer to produce a low protein that helps to fight against infections. Because of this, her speaking voice is quite high-pitched which attracts a lot of viewers to her growing fanbase and is one of the main factors of her popularity. She is also quite well known for her charming and sarcastic personality.
Ironmouse’s 2023 subathon which she hosted from June to March 2023 was record-breaking. On June 27, she broke the highest subscribers record for a female streamer with 172k subscribers. She started her journey as a steamer on Twitch's platform in January 2016. She also became a Twitch Partner in October of the same year. She is best known for being a variety streamer who plays lots of games. Some of the games she has played in the past include Apex Legends, Resident Evil 4, Cyberpunk 2077, World of Warcraft and Grand Theft Auto V (GTAV). However, the most important thing that has made Emily the ever-growing streaming she is today is her ongoing subathon as of writing this.
