Lethal Company is a new hyped indie horror co-op survival game created by Zeekeerss that was released on 24 October 2023 and is currently in early access. In the game, you, as a player, are hired by a corporate organization named the “Company” to explore different industrialized and abandoned moons to collect scraps for sale. To aid these exploration adventures, players have access to a ship to travel and use as their bunker. 

In the ship, there is a furniture item or tool known as the “Terminal” which players use to pretty much control the full ship and do everything in general. To use the tool, you need to know the commands that have to be input into the console to do things, but what are those commands and how do you use them? Hence, here is a complete list of all the Terminal Commands in Lethal Company and how to use them.

How to use the Terminal in Lethal Company

As mentioned before, the Terminal is found on the ship and it is generally placed to the right of the navigation deck unless you redecorate the ship. You can use it to select a moon to travel to, buy items, lock doors, monitor surveillance cameras, access your storage and get information about monsters and places in the game. However, how do you access the Terminal? Here is a list of steps you need to follow to access the Terminal: 

• Step 1: You need to get on your ship and make your way to Navigation Deck.

• Step 2: Once you’re in the Navigation Deck, look to your right and there you will find the Terminal, which is a computer table.

• Step 3: Press the interaction button, which is the button “E” by default on your keyboard and you will get access to the Terminal.

• Step 4: Once you get access to the Terminal, you need to click on the console area and type in “Help” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard. This will take you to the main screen of the Terminal.

Terminal Commands

At present, there are a few categories that you can access on the Terminal which include Moons, Store, Bestiary, Storage and Other. There is also a command that lets you lock and unlock secured doors. Hence, here is a list of all the Terminal Commands and how to use them: 

Moons

Once you get to the main screen on the Terminal, you will see that the first option shown is the Moons. Here is how you can access the Moons screen and use the Terminal Commands: 

• Step 1: Type in “Moons” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard, which will take you to the Moons main screen.

• Step 2: 
  • To navigate your ship to a moon, type in “Route <Moon’s Name>” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard. 
  • To get info on a moon, type in “Info <Moon’s Name>” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard.

Store

Once you get to the main screen on the Terminal, you will see that the second option shown is the Store. Here is how you can access the Store screen and use the Terminal Commands: 

• Step 1: Type in “Store” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard, which will take you to the Store’s main screen.
  
  
• Step 2: To buy any item, all you need to do is type in “<Item Name>” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard. If you want to buy more than one of an item, simply add a number quantity like “5” at the end of the item’s name to purchase it in bulk.

• Step 3: After you hit “Enter” on your keyboard, you will be taken to another screen that will ask you to confirm your purchase. To do that, type in “Confirm” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard. 

Bestiary

Once you get to the main screen on the Terminal, you will see that the third option shown is the Bestiary. Here is how you can access the Bestiary screen and use the Terminal Commands: 

• Step 1: Type in “Bestiary” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard, which will take you to the Bestiary’s main screen.

• Step 2: To get info on any creature, all you need to do is type in “<Creature Name> Info” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard. If you have not yet scanned the creature, typing in the first three letters of its name will show a message saying that there is no info found on the creature and a scan is required.

Storage 

Once you get to the main screen on the Terminal, you will see that the fourth option shown is Storage. Here is how you can access the Storage screen and use the Terminal Commands: 

• Step 1: Type in “Storage” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard, which will take you to the Storage main screen. You will be shown a list of all the items you stored while moving furniture on the screen and that’s about it.

Other

Once you get to the main screen on the Terminal, you will see that the third option shown is Other. Here is how you can access the Other screen and use the Terminal Commands: 

• Step 1: Type in “Other” and hit “Enter” on your keyboard, which will take you to the Other main screen.

• Step 2: Here, you can type in different commands to do different things which include the following: 

• • Type in “View Monitor” to access the cam monitor on the ship.
  • Type in “Switch <Player Username” to switch the cam monitor to spectating the Player’s location. 
  • Type in “Ping <Radar Booster Name” to ping the item and make it give an audio cue. 

• • Type in “Scan” to find out how many scraps are left outside and how much their value is.

Secured Doors

Last but not least, you can use a command to unlock and lock the secured doors inside the facility on the Moon you are on. Here is how to use the Terminal Commands for it: 

• Type in “<Door Name>” on the console of the Terminal’s main screen to unlock the door inside the facility. Type the same command in again to lock the door.
