Super Mario RPG Hidden Chests: Mushroom Kingdom

Like any self-respecting RPG, Super Mario RPG is full of things to discover and find. One of these are the Super Mario RPG hidden chests found in the various game areas. In total, there are 29, and although some are not that difficult to find, others can give you a hard time. Consequently, our first advice is to go to the Mushroom Kingdom's shop and go to the basement to talk to Toad, who will provide you with a signal ring that will allow you to understand when you are near one of the Super Mario RPG hidden chest locations.

In the Mushroom Kingdom area, there are three Super Mario RPG hidden chests that you will have to collect. The first two, in reality, are very likely not the first ones you will collect, unless you are following a guide, but they are the ones who have the task of teaching you the mechanics of these collectibles, so they should be collected first.

So, these first two Super Mario RPG hidden chests can be found in the Mushroom Kingdom's item shop. At this point, as we already told you at the beginning of this article, you will have to talk to Toad in order to have more information about these Super Mario RPG hidden chests and obtain an object that will make the search for these collectibles easier. From this moment on, you will hear a sound as soon as you are near one of the Super Mario RPG hidden chests.

Once you talk to Toad, all you have to do is jump to the center of the room, which will allow you to acquire your first hidden chest. Once you have this collectible, you will be free to go to the bottom right corner of the room, and you will have to jump to get the second hidden chest that is hidden in the room. Keep in mind that both Super Mario RPG hidden chests contain a Flower.

Now, the time has come to collect the third and final hide chest found in this area of the map. If you are a long-time player and have had the opportunity to play the original game, you will surely be aware of this particular hidden chest, which has the reputation of being quite tricky to collect. In fact, in the original game, you only had one possibility to collect it, since it then became inaccessible for the rest of the game, even if, when you met it, you were not yet aware of this game mechanic.

However, fortunately, things are different in this remake. The developers have decided to eliminate this annoying thing and, now, this hidden chest is available at any time in the game, thanks also to the fact that you can now make use of a wandering Toad found in the hall to reach the platform where this hidden chest is located. What you will have to do, therefore, is very simple: jump on Toad's head to reach the platform and then jump again to get the last of the Super Mario RPG Mushroom Kingdom hidden chests, which contain a Frog Coin.
