Overwatch: Fusion trades Fragi to Charge, Charge sends Kyb to Fusion, Gladiators move Bischu to Charge

It's been a busy day for OWL teams today, as several teams have made exchanges or trades in the past few hours.

The Philidelphia Fusion, LA Gladiators and the Guangzhou Charge have all made roster moves today.

The Philadelphia Fusion said farewell to main tank Fragi, as he leaves to join the Guangzhou Charge. Not only this, Guangzhou Charge have traded Kyb to the Fusion and the Los Angeles Gladiators have transferred Bischu over to the Charge.

Bischu to the Charge

Bischu started out his professional Overwatch career on Kungarna, landing first place in the 5th Rivalcade Arena Spectacular. After leaving for a short period of time to join other teams, he found himself back on the roster, playing in Seasons Zero and One of North American Contenders in 2017. The Los Angeles Gladiators picked up Bischu, and he quickly became a fan favorite with his bright smile and personality.

After a successful inaugural season, the Gladiators looked strong for Season Two, but Bischu struggled with health issues due to his ulcerative colitis. He was unable to play at the start of the season. He briefly stepped in to play with the Gladiators Legion in Contenders, but never made it to the Overwatch League stage in his purple jersey this season.

Kyb to the Fusion

Kyb has played for several teams during his time in professional Overwatch so far. He started on a team called REUNITED, then moved to other teams like Those guys, Lazer Kittenz and Renegades. After he took first place with Those Guys during the European Overwatch Pit Season 2 Championship, London Spitfire's Contenders team, British Hurricane, signed him to their roster.

They ultimately took home the gold in 2018 Contenders Europe Season One. He has also showcased his talents during his two times playing for Team United Kingdom during the Overwatch World Cup, taking home 4th place in 2018. After the World Cup, the Guangzhou Charge announced he would be joining their roster.

Fragi to the Charge

Fragi has also made a name for himself in the Overwatch scene. Starting off his career playing for a small team called Ninjas in Pyjamas, he was quickly signed to the renowned European squad, Team Gigantti.  After a successful time with the team, he was announced to be joining the Philadelphia Fusion in the inaugural Overwatch League season. The team had a rocky start, but found their feet quick enough to make it all the way to the grand finals in New York, where they came second. However, Fragi began to lose playtime after his tank counterpart, SADO, completed his 30-match ban for account boosting.

All of these players deserve playtime, and whilst teams may be sad to see them go to another team, their talents will be wasted sat on the bench.
