History of Logix
Logix first made his appearance in professional Overwatch when he joined the Movistar Riders in 2017. Movistar took home first place in the first season of the Overwatch PIT Championship – Europe. The Riders then went on to take first place at the HND Overwatch Invitiational, and then 4th place at Overwatch TaKeOver 2. Logix then joined his team playing in Season Zero of Contenders Europe in 2017, and then taking home gold at the GAME Stadium tournament. After playing for Belgium in the 2017 Overwatch World Cup, Misfits signed Logix before the team took second place against Team Gigantti in Season 1 of Contenders Europe. Misfits then bought a spot in the Overwatch League and brought the entire roster with them. Fans will know that team by another name: the Florida Mayhem.
Florida didn’t place well during the first season of the Overwatch League, placing 11th at the end of the season, but Logix’s was clearly talented. Unfortunately, the Mayhem dropped him from their roster, along with many other of his teammates so that they could have a fresh start. A few months later, Logix joined XL2 Academy, making it to the semi-finals against ATL Academy before falling short in the match. After XL2 released Logix, Montreal Rebellion signed him to their roster. They made it to the season playoffs of Contenders 2019 Season 1: North America East.
Logix is well known for his DPS skills, making a name for himself in the Overwatch League for his Widowmaker skills. It will be interesting to see where Logix will fit into the roster, having competed alongside flex tank Gods already during his time on Montreal Rebellion.
