Since they do an amazing job at promoting Overwatch to other people, Blizzard decided to launch the support a stream Overwach program yet again.

Overwatch support a streamer – What to expect?

The Twitch support-a-streamer for Overwatch 2 is a special event that will take place between November 30 and December 10. During that time, you can support your favorite streamer by subscribing or gifting a subscription to their channel. According ot the Overwatch blog post, people who do that will receive a special skin called Epic Bird of Paradise for Echo.

How to take part in the Twitch support-a-streamer-for Overwatch 2 event?

If you want to be a part of the Overwatch support a streamer campaign, you need to go to Twitch and sign up. After that, you have to check the eligible streamers and catch one of them online. Once ready, subscribe to this person or gift a sub to someone. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to get the reward if you gift a sub anonymously, so you need to have an account. Needless to say, you need to sub or gift the sub during the campaign, not after or before that.

Once you are ready, the Overwatch 2 dev blog post shows that you will get the Epic Bird of Paradise Echo skin once you get or gift at least 2 skins. You will not need to do anything else.

In terms of the eligible Twitch streamers, Blizzard has released a list of names that can take part in the promotion. There are tons of different channels to choose from, which is great news because this year’s Overwatch support a streamer event that affects more people.


Can you take part in the Twitch support-a-streamer Overwatch 2 event if you do not own the game?

Yes, you can be a part of the event, but you won’t be able to receive the skin. That sad, you won’t be able to redeem it in regions where you can’t play.

Can I get the skin for Echo with just one subscription?

No, you will need to make at least two subscriptions or gift two subs to someone to be eligible for the skin. Keep in mind that you won’t qualify for the skin if you are the one who receives the sub.

How will I find out if I got the prize?

After complying with the rules regarding the Overwatch support a streamer promo, you will receive a Twitch notification. It is usually located next to the navigation bar and it will tell you that you’ve won the skin. Once that happens, you will have 72 hours to log in to get it.
