Aztac made his way to the Overwatch League progressively, step by step. He first began in the Open Division, before joining various teams to compete in the Overwatch Contenders. With O2 Blast, he placed 2nd in the Overwatch Contenders 2019 Season 1 Korea. He then joined World Game Star Phoenix and placed 3rd in the Overwatch Contenders 2020 Season 1 Korea. Four months later, the team brought home the title of Grand Champions of the Overwatch Contenders 2020 Season 2 Korea.
Aztac proved his worth more than once, from his early days in the Open Division to his victory in the Overwatch Contenders. He will now take his first steps in the Overwatch League with the Toronto Defiant.
Defiant Roster
After dropping all players but one, the Toronto Defiant is building a brand new roster for the Overwatch League 2021 Season. The only player the team kept is Andreas “Logix” Berghmans, who has been with the Toronto Defiant for over a year. The team recently signed Adam “Beast” Denton, winner of the Overwatch Contenders 2018 and 2019 in North America, as well as the 2019 Atlantic Showdown.
