Everyone's favorite dream event may actually take place.
It seems that Overwatch League fans should be excited about a possible event that originated from a meme, as AvastCon might actually come to pass. It even has a website. Created by Connor ‘Avast’ Prince, AvastCon appears to be taking place at a Chuck E Cheese in Tallahassee, Florida. Overwatch League caster MonteCristo is also lending a hand, having tweeted Chuck E Cheese to see if they can secure the venue for the event.
Hey Monte, this is something we normally do not do, however DM us your intended location, date and contact information so that the appropriate District Manager can reach out to you. Thanks!

The event has originated from Avast himself, as he is constantly picking a ‘Chuck E Cheese Chad of the Match’ at the end of each Overwatch League match. Plus, there's a reason they picked Florida. Avast is an avid supporter of the Florida Mayhem and their hashtag ‘#BringTheMayhem’. His support is so strong for the team, he bought himself one of their jerseys.

Most fans assumed it was a joke (it still could be). That said, since Montecristo has managed to get a response from Chuck E Cheese about securing a venue, this event might actually happen. But of course, an event like this will have many jokes about it.
Fans have already begun making posters, with the guest list extending to the likes of Surefour, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Xepher and Danny DeVito. Naturally, these posters are just fan made, but it seems Avast might be working with the Florida Mayhem as well to help host this event. This could all be a big joke, but we'll keep you updated.
So… this is happening. #AvastCon2019 #BringTheMayhem https://t.co/6eTuUJvSzJ
