Overwatch 2's new Support Juno is out of this world.. literally.
Overwatch 2's newest hero — a Martian support named Juno — will be playable for a limited time this weekend. This bright-eyed Space Ranger uses off-world tech to heal allies and buff her team. But Juno's no simple support, as her other abilities let her hold her own in a fight.
Here's everything you need to know about Juno's free trial weekend in Overwatch 2.

OW2 Juno Release Date
Juno will be released on August 20 in Overwatch 2 Season 12. Judging from the trailer, we can look forward to a lot of cosmic fun in the next seasonal event (possibly a tie-in with the movie sets in the Hollywood map?).
We'll have to wait for a month before Juno makes a deep impact in Ranked. But we'll have plenty of time to test her kit on her free weekend event.

When Is Juno’s Free Weekend Trial?
Juno will drop-in from July 19-21 in a hero trial event across all game modes (except Competitive). Players will get to try out Overwatch 2's new support in No Limits, a play mode in the Arcade that removes ability cooldowns.
We've gotten similar hero trials in the past, with Venture in March and Mauga last November. Both circumsances led to big hero balance changes down the line.
Is the OW2 Juno Free Trial Coming To Console?
Yes, Juno's weekend hero trial is available across all platforms. That means PC, PS4, PS5, XBox One, XBox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
Overwatch 2 Juno Abilities
The official hero announcement trailer revealed Juno's exciting abilities, including an ultimate that calls and orbital laser down on the battlefield. Here's everything we know about the 41st hero's skill kit!
Mediblaster

Juno's main weapon fires 3-round bursts that heal allies and hurt enemies.
Glide Boost

Twin rocket boosters that let Juno fly above the competition. Perfect for avoiding threats and enemy ults on the ground.
Pulsar Torpedoes

Auto-locking missiles that target all allies/enemies in view. Projectiles heal allies and damage foes.
Hyper Ring

Summons a large portal that increases ally speed and jump height. Useful for getting your teammates across large gaps and around bad chokepoints.
Orbital Ray

Calls down a large pillar of light that stays on the field. Heals allies and damages enemies.
OW2 Juno Voice Actor
Juno is voiced by Xanthe Huynh, an American voice actress. Xanthe's most notable video game work comes from titles such as, Honkai Star Rail (Pela), Unicorn Overlord (Umerus), Persona 5 Tactica (Haru Okumura), and so many more.
Last Thoughts
Juno's hero trial will allow us to try Overwatch 2's latest playable character. While we'll have to wait more than a month before getting Juno in Competitive Ranked, the trial event on July 19-21 will give us a fun look into her synergy with other heroes, and give devs more insight into what needs to be tweaked in the spacewoman's kit.

Juno's kit presents an impressive leap in hero design. Since Lifeweaver, we've been seeing a convergence of conventional role designs in Overwatch 2; Supports have more utility-based skills, and Tanks have more offensive capabilities. And if Juno fits well in OW2's current orbit, we can expect more innovative designs in the months to come.
