NRS Reveal Details for Mortal Kombat 1 Pre-Order Beta

Get ready to Test Your Might, ladies and gentlemen. The Mortal Kombat 1 Pre-Order Beta will begin soon.

The Mortal Kombat 1 Stress Test was incredibly successful, and now Mortal Kombat fans have the Pre-Order Beta to look forward to. The Beta begins on August 18 and runs through August 21 at 11 AM EDT. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will have access to the Beta, but PC and Nintendo Switch players will unfortunately not. The Beta will not support cross-platform play. 

Those who have made digital pre-orders will automatically receive access to the Beta through their console and can dive right in starting August 18. Those with physical pre-orders should input their received Beta Access codes through their Warner Bros. Game Accounts. You can download the Beta ahead of launch time. 

Johnny Cage and Li Mei will join Kitana, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, and Kenshi as playable main roster characters. The inferiority complex ice queen herself, Frost, will join Sonya Blade, Jax, and Kano as one of the playable Kameo characters. Johnny Cage's Mansion and The Teahouse will remain as the only playable stages. 

Players will need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to participate in the 1 vs. 1 online multiplayer of the Pre-Order Beta. No progress made in the Pre-Order Beta will carry over to your account when Mortal Kombat 1 releases.
