The Runeterra Reforged Mid-Set Finale, set to take place from August 25th to 27th, will be a three-day showcase of the best players. Featuring the top 4 players from both the Freljord Cup and the Shurima Cup, as well as the top 24 players from Qualifier Points, this event will determine the participants for the Runeterra Reforged NA Regional Finals. The top 8 players will automatically qualify for Day 3 of the Noxus Cup in Set 9.5, and the top 4 players will secure their place in the Runeterra Reforged NA Regional Finals.
The Noxus Cup, scheduled for September 30th to October 8th, will be the first competitive event for Set 9.5 in North America. Following a format similar to the Freljord and Shurima Cups, the Noxus Cup will see the top 4 players directly qualifying for the Runeterra Reforged NA Regional Finals. As with the previous events, players will also earn Qualifier Points based on their final placement.
NA will have an extra seed at Worlds thanks to Rereplay’s victory
The North American Last Chance Qualifier, held on October 14th and 15th, will provide invited players with a final opportunity to secure a spot in the Runeterra Reforged NA Regional Finals. Invites will be extended to the top 12 player sign-ups based on a leaderboard snapshot, along with 4 players who have not yet qualified from Qualifier Points. The top 2 players from this event will claim their spots in the NA Regional Finals.
The highly anticipated Runeterra Reforged NA Regional Finals will take place from October 27th to 29th, determining the representatives of North America at the prestigious Runeterra Reforged World Championship. The 3-day tournament will feature 24 players, including the top 10 players from Qualifier Points, the top 2 leaderboard point earners from Set 9 and Set 9.5 leaderboard snapshots, the top 4 players from the Mid-Set Finale, the top 4 players from the Noxus Cup, and the top 2 players from the Last Chance Qualifier. Notably, due to being the reigning champion, North America will receive an extra slot in the Runeterra Reforged Championship, allowing the top 3 players to qualify. Additionally, the player with the highest average placement throughout the event will secure a spot at the World Championship.
Qualifier Points will play a significant role in Set 9, with players earning points based on their placement in each tournament. These points will contribute to determining the top earners who will advance to the Mid-Set Finale and the NA Regional Finals. The point values will increase in later tournaments, providing players with more opportunities to secure a higher rank.
Furthermore, leaderboard snapshots will return to recognize players who consistently maintain a high rank on the TFT leaderboard. In Set 9, snapshots will be taken weekly, starting on June 28th and ending on August 23rd. In Set 9.5, snapshots will resume on September 20th and conclude on October 4th. To be eligible for consideration, players must play at least 10 ranked games on the same account each week a snapshot is taken.
As the anticipation builds for the first official event in July, fans can follow the TFT Esports events on TFT’s website or follow TFT and Giant Slayer on social media for further updates on upcoming Runeterra Reforged events, standings, rules and official leaderboard snapshots.
