When it comes to getting the Oxen, you can get it from a hitching post by pressing on the “Hire Oxen” option. They are used as manual labor livestock who help with transport and plowing farm fields. When it comes to transport, Oxen specifically helps with transporting heavy logs to building sites at the Logging Camp or Sawpit and transporting huge amounts of goods around for logistical transportation.

Once you get the Heavy Plowing upgrade from the farm developments, you will be able to assign your Oxen to the Farmhouse in the advance menu. In the Farmhouse, once they are assigned they will help with plowing the farm fields in any part of the ground that needs plowing.
