League of Legends: SK Gaming Acquire Former Schalke Jungler Trick

Earlier today, Esportmaniacos and ESPN reported that Kim “Trick” Gang-yun will be joining SK Gaming for the LEC 2020 season. Trick formerly played on Schalke 04, but most know him from his time on G2 Esports. At G2, he was an EU LCS MVP player and a serious force in European League of Legends.

Trick is the first major roster pickup for SK Gaming so far this offseason. They recently released Dreams, who has moved to Schalke 04, but have been relatively quiet overall.

Last year, SK Gaming managed to make playoffs in the Spring Split but failed to do so in Summer. With this acquisition, SK Gaming should have high hopes of reaching playoffs in both splits and perhaps even further beyond. Until the rest of the roster is finalized, it's hard to say how far they will go. Regardless, Trick is a fantastic jungler and will be a great asset for SK Gaming.
