League of Legends: Origen to Sign Destiny from OPL Team Mammoth

ESPN has reported that Origen is set to finalize its 2020 LEC roster with the acquisition of former Mammoth support Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw.

Destiny joins from OPL second split champions Mammoth. The team also made it to Worlds but sadly failed to progress past play-ins.

Destiny will join an Origen side that’s added former Splyce jungler Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir and former Schalke 04 Esports AD carry Elias “Upset” Lipp. The three will link up with current players Barney ‘Alphari’ Morris and Erland ‘Nukeduck’ Vatevik Holm.

Destiny has spent his entire professional League of Legends career in his home of Australia, so this move to Origen marks a change of scenery for the Aussie. Though with no language barrier, it’s unlikely to be any major shock outside of the European weather.
