ESPN is reporting Immortals has finalized a deal for former Team Liquid jungler Jake “Xmithie” Puchero to be the teams starting jungler for 2020.
By joining Immortals Xmithie will be rejoining the organization that he almost secured the NA LCS title with back in 2017, the final split prior to franchising.

Xmithie was the big NA free agent of the 2020 preseason, with a number of teams looking at signing the NA resident jungler. Immortals, which acquired the OpTic Gaming LCS spot after its purchase of OpTic’s holding company Infinite Esports & Entertainment in June 2019.
Immortals have inherited an LCS side that failed to really make an impact in its two-years failing to secure a top-five finish in the regular season.
Xmithie was seen by many as the most exciting prospect in the LCS free agency window, with many teams reportedly looking to sign him. Xmithie signs with Immortals having won three LCS titles in a row and features at multiple international events for the NA organization.
Immortals are yet to confirm any of its roster for 2020 outside of this Xmithie report. Immortals had a lot of success in the NA LCS when it was apart of it back in 2016 – 2017, with the organization just missing out to TSM at the 2017 Summer Playoffs.
