League of Legends: Excel Esports Sign former Origen ADC Patrik

ESPN is reporting that bot laner Patrik “Patrik” Jírů is joining Excel Esports from Origen. He’ll pair up in the bot lane with new Excel Esports support Tore “Norskeren” Hoel Eilertsen who is rumored to be joining from Splyce.

Patrik, formerly known as Sheriff as been around the European scene for a long time for someone who only turned 19 in April. He’s previously played for H2K-Gaming, two stints at eSuba and Beşiktaş Esports.

Patrik helped Origen reached fourth-place in the LEC Regional Finals after placing eighth in the Summer split. The team had a much better start to the season finishing second in the Spring Split after losing out 0-3 to G2 in the LEC Playoffs.

In our previous report about the 2020 LEC roster for Excel Esports, we said it looked like the team was building something special. Excel look set to have a solid roster going into 2020 with only a mid lane spot likely still to be filled before the LEC starts up again.
