Dignitas finalizes its 10-man LCS roster with the signing of former FlyQuest top laner Omran “V1per” Shoura.
Dignitas adds V1per to the roster just days after signing former Team Solomid jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett. V1per joins Dignitas having spent the start of 2020 sharing the FlyQuest top lane with Colin “Solo” Earnest. While V1per showed promise, by the end of Spring Split he had been completely phased out of the starting roster by Solo.
After the sides shock announcement that it would be letting star signing Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon leave after a well-published contract “situation” that looked to cause Dignitas any number of issues ahead of Spring Split. Dignitas also let go of Jonathan “Grig” Armao, who joined the Team Liquid Academy for Summer, as they look to rebuild after a poor showing in Spring.

As of right now, we don’t know how the 10-man roster will look, and what players will make up the LCS and Academy rosters. It’s been said by Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham that Dignitas had been holding an internal tryout/scrim to decide on everyone’s placement on the two rosters. As for V1per, he’ll be competing for his spot with Dignitas with the sides current Academy top laner Samson “Lourlo” Jackson.
Hopeful for Summer
Dignitas has a disappointing Spring Split all around. They failed to make playoffs and only managed a seventh-place finish after ending the season 8-10. But now they've made changes going into summer and will have high hopes for it. Fans will certainly hope its enough for the team to make a move on the top half of the LCS table.
As of right now, the Dignitas LCS starting roster is likely to be:
- Top: Omran “V1per” Shoura
- Jungle: Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett
- Mid: Henrik “Froggen” Hansen
- ADC: Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen
- Support: Zaqueri “aphromoo” Black
The LCS Summer Split will begin on June 13. For more League of Legends and esports news, follow ESTNN on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
