League Of Legends: TSM Trades Dardoch To Team Dignitas

Dardoch is off of the TSM LoL roster and on to Dignitas'.

Team SoloMid (“TSM”) bid farewell to their jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett today on Twitter. Dardoch joined the team this year after he was acquired from Immortals during last year's offseason. This news comes as surprise to few though, as a recent controversy had him caught in the crossfire.

For those out of the loop, President of TSM Leena Xu was caught on Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng's Twitch stream saying that “no one wants to pick up Dardoch.” This blew up in the community and sparked outrage and contributed to a so-called “TSM holy war.” As a result, everyone knew that Dardoch's time on TSM was almost done, but fans finally have the official confirmation.

In addition, Team Dignitas has announced that Dardoch will be joining them for the Summer Split.

Dardoch will presumably be replacing Matthew “Akaadian” Higgenbotham as the team's starting jungler. Dignitas had its fair share of struggles last split, but with this fiery new addition, they could be powering up significantly. Playoffs are undoubtedly in their eyes now.

Meanwhile, TSM also had a disappointing Spring Split and was expected to make big moves for summer. They've already added star AD Carry Doublelift to the lineup, and now they'll definitely seeking a jungler too. At this time, there is no word on who will take that spot though. In all likelihood, Mingyi “Spica” Lu will make the move up from Academy and claim that role.

The LCS Summer Split will begin on June 13. For more League of Legends and esports news, follow ESTNN on TwitterFacebook, and Instagram.
