JDG vs KT Recap Worlds 2023 Swiss Stage Day 12.
The last few teams advanced to the quarter-finals in Worlds 2023 with sky-high expectations. On day 12 of Worlds, the #1 LPL seed faced off against one of the last Korean rosters KT Rolster. With the strongest 2023 team from Korea eliminated, many felt it was only a matter of time before we saw an all-LPL semifinals bracket. JDG was on their way to a historic Golden Road, but after the matches we've seen, no team is secure. And knowing Faker and Bdd's potential, a last-minute rebound wasn't out of the question for the remaining underdogs in the LCK.

JDG vs KT Recap – Game 1
Bdd was going into the first match with a lot of 1v1 power on Akali. On top of that, the permafrost synergy with the Jungler on KT gave them a strong chance to dominate mid-jungle in the midgame. But JDG still had a stronger meta draft with Ori-Rell.
Constant back and forths in bot lane as both top-laners brawled for supremacy. The constant 1v1's up top had Kanavi's Rell constantly switch sidelanes for ten minutes. First drake was stolen by JDG but KT was able to make up for it with an uncontested Rift Herald. After a huge 4v3 ended in KT's advantage, JDG was able to bait enough cooldowns to claim the 2nd dragon. As the game continued, Bdd's quick moves on Akali kept JDG from killing Aiming, who wrecked JDG after scaling on Aphelios. KT surprisingly won one teamfight after another in the midgame, and eventually won the first game of the series in exemplar form.

JDG vs KT Recap – Game 2
A fast first blood at 3 minutes gave KT another headstart, with forced JDG to play respectfully. Soon after, the LPL team went in for a scrappy 3v4 after they took the first dragon. JDG's new meta comp allowed them to zone their opponents out of important positions, and keep a 1k gold lead. And after a decisive 4-man knock-up by knight's Neeko, JDG found enough momentum to find 3 more dragons, win successive teamfights with Kanavi and claim Game 2 in dominant fashion.

JDG vs KT Recap – Game 3
Game 3 had a slow earlygame, and both Junglers focused botside to get a quick lead which fell into the hands of JDG. Shortly after, KT picked up speed and caught the JDG toplaner in a fast dive, getting First Blood. JDG unleashed Rift Herald at midlane, but the game remained on a razor's edge. However, after JDG got their 3rd dragon, a devastating teamfight left KT 2 kills behind. And while the LCK #3 seed had tons of mobility to avoid a bigger deficit, JDG still had stronger teamfight coordination and closed out the game in 27 minutes.

JDG vs KT Recap – Game 4
Two immobile carry champs gave both teams immense amounts of control, but not a lot of roam potential. With KT one man down, JDG was free to claim the 3rd drake of the game. Game 4 descended into chaos as teamfights erupted across the Chemtech Rift, resulting in KT reclaiming a shaky lead. But after more deaths from JDG's side, the LPL team lost coordination in the midgame and instead focused on tower plates. But knight and Ruler made a massive Shockwave play that stopped KT's momentum in its tracks, equalizing the score yet again. Game 4 was extremely close, but JDG eventually sieged KT's base and nearly lost match point were it not for a Baron-buffed siege minion (hilariously) finishing off KT's 1-HP nexus.
