Amber is an uncommon resource in Lego Fortnite that is not found easily. Hence, check out our guide to find out how to get Cut Amber
Lego Fortnite is the latest game mode added to the popular shooter game, Fortnite. It is the ultimate survival and crafting experience for players. For this reason, once you have settled down in the game you have to go looking for resources for survival. Among the many resources in the game, one of them is Amber. Amber is a type of uncommon gem that a player can have in two forms: Rough Amber and Cut Amber. It can easily be found in the desert biomes after playing the game just for a few hours. Hence, here is a complete detailed guide on how to get Cut Amber in Lego Fortnite.
Where to find and get Amber
As mentioned before, it is not difficult at all to get Amber in the game. Amber is specifically found in desert biomes, which are called the Dry Valley biomes. Now, where can you find the Dry Valley biome? They can spawn randomly anywhere in the world, so you need to keep exploring until you come across it. You will know you’re in the biome when you see lots of cacti and large sharp rocks on barren stretches of land.
Here, you have to climb on top of the large rocks and mine the Amber from them as that is where the resources are located. Pay attention to the rocks and climb on top of the high cliffs to reach the resources. Amber looks like large yellow gems, so you’ll know it's the resource when you see it across the rocks. Mine it with your pickaxe and make sure to get at least 60 of the gems because you’ll need a lot for crafting items.
To mine the Amber from the rocks, you will need to use an Uncommon or Tier 2 green Pickaxe. Any lower rare Pickaxe will not be able to mine the resource so don’t bother trying it out. To get this pickaxe, you need to upgrade your workbench or crafting bench to the Uncommon level using three Shells and eight Planks. Then, you can craft the Uncommon Pickaxe using three Knotrood Rods and three Bones. To get Knotrood Rods, you need to look out for curly vines inside caves when you have to cut down with your pickaxe and put through a Lumber Mill to get the Rods. As for Bones, they are dropped by Skeletons once you kill them.
Crafting the Uncommon Pickaxe will not only be used for mining Amber in Lego Fortnite, but it will also help you to get other rarer minerals in the long run, which makes crafting this very worth it. The pickaxe is one of the most if not the most important tools in the game, so it is best to get a good one as soon as possible.
How to get Cut Amber in Lego Fortnite
Once you’re done harvesting the Rough Amber from the rocks, you need to take it back to your base or Village to make it into Cut Amber. Now, the answer to how to get Cut Amber lies in first getting yourself the resource, which you already do. Hence, what is the next step? The next step is getting a Gem Cutter Station so that you can cut the resource by feeding it to the station. Here are the resources you’ll need to build or craft a Gem Cutter Station:
- 20 Marble Slabs: You can get them by harvesting Marble and then feeding them to a Stone Breaker Station.
- 5 Rough Amber
- 5 Sand Claws: You can get them by killing Wolves in the desert or Dry Valley biomes.
- 3 Sand Shells: You can get them by killing Rollers in the desert or Dry Valley biomes.
Then, you can simply build the Gem Cutter Station by using all these resources and place it anywhere in your base. Once you’re done building the station, all you need to do is feed your Rough Amber to it to get, you guessed it, Cut Amber! For each Rough Amber you feed the station, you’ll get one Cut Amber.
Needless to say, finding cut Amber in Lego Fortnite is quite simple. Finding the desert or Dry Valley biomes located throughout the world is an easy task because they are scattered all over the land. If you find the biomes, Amber is absolutely located on the sharp rocks. Make sure to craft the Uncommon Pickaxe beforehand because the resource cannot be mined without one.
