Three new characters, two new Light Cones, and four sets of Relics. Honkai Star Rail 1.2 is loaded with new ways to play.
Characters
Blade
Blade is one of Elio's followers, part of the Stellaron Hunters. He hails from the Xianzhou Luofu and seems to share lots of history with Dan Heng. He's a crucial part of the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 story update, so it's appropriate for him to be released during this version. Now that he's playable as a character, we'll learn a lot about just how strong he really is.

Skill
Hellscape
Consumes HP equal to 30% of Blade's Max HP to enter the Hellscape state. When Hellscape is active, his Skill cannot be used, his DMG dealt increases by 12%, and his Basic ATK Shard Sword is enhanced to Forest of Swords for 3 turn(s). If Blade's current HP is insufficient, his HP will be reduced to 1 when he uses his Skill. This Skill does not regenerate Energy. Using this Skill does not end the current turn. |
Ultimate
Death Sentence
Sets Blade's current HP to 50% of his Max HP and deals to a single enemy Wind DMG equal to the sum of 24% of his ATK, 60% of his Max HP, and 60% of the total HP he has lost in the current battle. At the same time, deals Wind DMG to adjacent targets equal to the sum of 9.6% of his ATK, 24% of his Max HP, and 24% of the total HP he has lost in the current battle. The total HP Blade has lost in the current battle is capped at 90% of his Max HP. This value will be reset and re-accumulated after his Ultimate has been used. |
Talent
Shuhu's Gift
When Blade sustains DMG or consumes his HP, he gains 1 stack of Charge, stacking up to 5 times. A max of 1 Charge stack can be gained every time he is attacked. When Charge stack reaches maximum, immediately launches a follow-up attack on all enemies, dealing Wind DMG equal to 22% of Blade's ATK plus 55% of his Max HP. At the same time, restores Blade's HP by 25% of his Max HP. After the follow-up attack, all Charges are consumed. |
Technique
Karma Wind
Immediately attacks the enemy. After entering battle, consumes 20% of Blade’s Max HP and deals 40% of Blade’s Max HP as Wind DMG to all enemies. If Blade's current HP is insufficient, his HP will be reduced to 1 when this Technique is used. |
Kafka
The most stylish and confident character: Kafka. Fans have waited since release, but finally, in the second half of Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update, we're going to have the final character of the Stellaron Hunter trio. Similarly to Silver Wolf, she'll be used to debuff enemies and put them in a disadvantaged state against the rest of her team.

Skill
Caressing Moonlight
Deals 70% of Kafka's ATK as Lightning DMG to a target enemy and 25% of Kafka's attack as Lightning DMG to adjacent enemies. If the target enemy is already taking a DoT, immediately deals DMG equal to 100% of all DoT effects the enemy has. |
Ultimate
Twilight Thrill
Deals 36% of Kafka's ATK as Lightning DMG to all enemies. There is a 100% base chance for hit enemies to be Shocked and immediately take 80% of the received DMG. Shock lasts for 3 turns. When Shocked, enemies receive 60% of Kafka's ATK as Lightning DoT at the start of their turn. |
Talent
Gentle but Cruel
After an ally uses a Basic ATK on a Shocked enemy, Kafka immediately deals 75% of her ATK as Lightning DMG to that enemy. This effect can only be triggered once per turn. |
Technique
Mercy Is Not Forgiveness
Immediately attacks the enemy. After entering battle, deals 50% of Kafka's ATK as Lightning DMG to a random enemy and all enemies have a 100% base chance to be Shocked for 3 turns. While Shocked, enemies will take 50% of Kafaka's ATK as Lightning DoT at the start of each turn. |
Luka
The first new character from Belobog since Seele upon release. Luka will hit the game in the second half of the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update along with Kafka. He's a championship boxer of the Belobog Underworld and is expected to pack a pretty big punch, applying bleed to enemies and making them more vulnerable to his teammates' attacks.

Deals Physical DMG to a single target and has a chance of inflicting Bleed. |
Ultimate
Coup de Grâce
In addition to dealing DMG, he also obtains Fighting Will and there is also a chance of increasing the target's DMG received for a set number of turns. |
Talent
Flying Sparks
During battle, Luka can obtain Fighting Will through a variety of attacks. When Fighting Will reaches a certain number of stacks, Luka's basic ATK is enhanced. His enhanced Basic ATK deals 4-hits of DMG with the final hit dealing additional DMG to enemies currently inflicted with Bleed. |

When using Luka's technique during exploration, he obtains Fighting Will after entering battle. |
Light Cones
The Unreachable Side
Path: Destruction
Effect: Increases the wearer's CRIT by 18% and their Max HP by 18%. When the wearer is attacked or consumes their own HP, their DMG increases by 24%. This effect is removed after the wearer uses an attack.
Destruction characters that draw power from their own HP like Blade and Arlan can benefit from the increase in HP, DMG increase, and CRIT increase all in one to make the loss of health more worthwhile.

Longevous Deciple
2-Piece Effect: Increases Max HP by 12%.
4-Piece Effect: When the wearer is hit or has their HP consumed by an ally, their CRIT Rate increases by 8% for 2 turn(s) and up to 2 stacks.
Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
2-Piece Effect: Increases SPD by 6%.
4-Piece Effect: When the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally, SPD for all allies increases by 12% for 1 turn(s). This effect cannot be stacked.
Rutilant Arena
2-Piece Effect: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
Broken Keel
2-Piece Effect: Increases the wearer's Effect RES by 10%. When the wearer's Effect RES is at 30% or higher, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 10%.
