Hamlinz & Daequan Are Back And Have Signed With NRG

Daequan and Hamlinz are back on the scene—this time with NRG instead of TSM.

Fortnite Battle Royale legends and former TSM members Daequan “Daequan” Loco and Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin are back from the shadow realm. Both icons vanished from Twitch and social media back in 2020. No one knew where they went or if they’d ever come back.

Earlier this week, some cryptic posters surfaced in Los Angeles, California, featuring Daequan and Hamlinz. Naturally, the rumor mill took on a mind of its own, and the anticipation began to build for the eventual return. A pair of shifty eye emojis from both personalities further sent the internet into a frenzy, and we now have confirmation that Daequan and Hamlinz are back.

Many thought the two remained under TSM through their hiatus. However, a video came to light earlier today featuring both players in rival esports org NRG’s apparel. The organization soon acknowledge the signing of Daequan and Hamlinz with a more complex announcement scheduled for 1 PM PST on August 26.

Daequan & Hamlinz Leave TSM, Join NRG

The two Fortnite icon’s new organization bore the responsibility of informing hundreds of thousands that Daequan and Hamlinz are indeed back. It was a legendary moment for Daequan and Hamlinz, who many have anxiously awaited the return of since early 2020. Straightforward in their approach, NRG tweeted out a “Found” billboard featuring the former TSM members.

While the contract details are unclear, those don’t matter to the thousands waiting for this moment. TSM has yet to acknowledge the departure of Daequan and Hamlinz. Regardless, the two are onward and upward to NRG with an entirely new content house to wreak havoc within.

The YouTube channel previously known as “Find the Streamers” has rebranded to “NRG Thoom House.” It seems Daequan and Hamlinz will move into another content house under a new banner. The channel does not have any videos to post this article, but more than 13K have clicked the subscribe button. It’s safe to assume the former TSM boys are refreshed and ready to jump back into this crazy world of content.

Will they play Fortnite once again with other legends on the scene? Will they work in other titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Among Us and others? We don’t have answers to these questions yet. But it’ll be an exciting adventure nonetheless. An official announcement is due to air tomorrow at 1 PM PST, so stay tuned for more on the return of Daequan and Hamlinz!
