Halo Infinite Releases Exclusive Nameplate and Emblem for Juneteenth

Today is Juneteenth, and Halo Infinite is celebrating the occasion.

While Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, did much of the heavy lifting to abolish slavery in America, Juneteenth is the day slaves in America all truly became free.

Over two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation, Juneteenth celebrates the anniversary of Major General Gordon Granger's General Order No 3. Granger and his army marched into the Texas city of Galveston, publicly read the order, and soon after enforced the Emancipation Proclamation. Thus, all remaining slaves in Confederate territory were finally free.

In honor of this historic day, Halo Infinite has released a Juneteenth nameplate and emblem to Halo Infinite. All Halo Infinite players can unlock these items just by logging into Halo Infinite sometime in June.
