After years of waiting, Rockstar has announced the GTA 6 Trailer Release Date, and it’s not far into the future!
Grand Theft Auto V is one of, if not the most successful game in the world. It has millions of players on multiple platforms, with a replayable story, one of the best sandbox worlds, and a multiplayer mode that expanded upon all of that with an immense amount of missions, activities, as well as roleplay servers and other community-driven projects.
However, GTA 5 was released more than 10 years ago on September 17th, 2013, and fans have been eager to hear from the developers about the next instalment of the franchise. While leaks and teasers have been popping up here and there, Rockstar Games have finally broke the silence with an official announcement.
GTA 6 Trailer Release Date Announced by Rockstar
The first official trailer for GTA 6 arrives next week on December 5th, according to a tweet by the official Rockstar Games Twitter/X account!
While they didn’t give us a release date, or even a hint about the trailer being a teaser trailer or a full-fledged one, this is great news, as the wait is coming to its end – just after the previous game’s 10th anniversary.

The leaks have shown that GTA 6’s protagonist should be a woman, making it stand out from the rest of the series where you mainly played as males. It will take place in Vice City, which will grow with the story, as well as a revamped and updated police system. It will include customizable characters and activities such as money-laundering, and Rockstar wants to lean heavier into the RPG elements, which should be a bit similar to Ubisoft’s new approach to the Assassin’s Creed games after Syndicate.
There’s still much to be learned about GTA 6, as we basically don’t know anything – but on December 5th, that will change when the first trailer for the game will drop! Keep an eye on ESTNN for further details!
