Gamers8 Announces Inaugural Gamers8 Club Awards

Gamers8 is making their lucrative Esports circuit even more enticing for Esports organizations.

Gamers8 has made it abundantly clear that it is all in on Esports. From Gamers8 2023, set to be the biggest Esports festival ever with a $45 million prize pool, to their collaboration with other major Esports tournaments organizations like Dreamhack

Their lineup of games is incredibly diverse. From CSGO, Rainbow Six Siege, and PUBG to DOTA2 and Starcraft 2. From Rocket League and Fortnite to Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 6, there's a competitive Esports at Gamers8 for almost everyone. Gamers8's investment and commitment to Esports are notable, and Esports organizations that have made similar investments in the space will have a chance for those investments to pay off big time.

The Top 8 Esports Clubs Will Win Big

Gamers8 has announced its first Gamers8 Club Awards. Beginning on July 6 and running through August 27, the Gamers8 Club Awards will track the performance of all Esports organizations competing in their upcoming tournaments. Organizations can earn points by placing high in Gamers8's Esports tournaments. Gamers8 will update the rankings daily throughout the summer.

The eight best-performing organizations will earn their piece of a $5,000,000 prize pool. The 8th-place team will earn $100,000, but the first-place winner will receive a massive $1,500,000.

Gamers8 Club Awards Competition Rules

The Gamers8 Club Awards competition has some important rules to keep in mind. All players must publicly and officially register as members of a qualifying Esports organization to earn points. If an organization makes any roster changes, it must notify the official tournament administrator before the tournament begins.

While not uncommon for Esports players to compete for multiple organizations in tournaments, the Gamers8 Club Awards discourages journeyman Esports shenanigans. If a team consists of players representing more than one Esports organization, points earned will be divided proportionately among all represented clubs depending on the number of players used.

With so many Gamers8 tournaments set to take place this summer, larger Esports organizations will have a significant advantage should they qualify for multiple tournaments. However, organizations will not be able to double or triple up in the same tournament. If, for example, an organization has three players competing in the Gamers8 Tekken 7 tournament, only the points of their best-performing player will count towards the organization's overall score.

Gamers8 will end the summer with the Gamers8 Club Awards Ceremony lasting from August 30-31, where they will crown the eight best-performing organizations.

Good luck to all competing organizations, and here's to a brighter future for Esports!
