Fortnite x Monopoly Collaboration Reportedly In The Works

Leaks reveal a collaboration between Fortnite Battle Royale and Monopoly.
Another Fortnite Battle Royale collaboration is in the works, according to multiple sources this morning. Leakers within the Fortnite scene decrypted cosmetics pointing to a Monopoly crossover. Yes — the iconic board game will most likely become part of the popular Battle Royale title. The details surrounding the leaks are unclear, but the images seem legitimate. Let’s take a look at the latest partnership that brings Monopoly into Fortnite.

Reputable leaker HYPEX was one of the first to report the planned collaboration. While no character outfits were revealed, it seems that Monopoly’s board game pieces will become in-game back bling cosmetics. HYPEX’s tweet includes images of the classic Monopoly pieces.

Details beyond what HYPEX tweeted are nonexistent at this stage. However, he is accurate and perhaps the most recognizable leaker in the scene. It’s safe to say that the Monopoly cosmetics will arrive in the Item Shop sometime in the coming weeks.
It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary, either. Epic Games has managed interesting collaborations of late, including Venom and Carnage. Monopoly is certainly an unexpected addition but one worth taking into account. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with any additional information.
