Fortnite: World Cup Finalist Sceptic Joins Team Whistle As An Esports Ambassador

Sceptic is working with Team Whistle from now on.


Team Whistle is a sports and entertainment company based out of New York. Today, they announced a partnership with Fortnite World Cup Finalist Griffin “Sceptic” Spikoski.

The 16-year-old content creator has amassed over 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube and over 600K followers on Twitch. Sceptic’s partnership with Team Whistle includes a daily Twitch stream on Team Whistle’s new channel. In a press release, Team Whistle detailed their partnership with the young Fortnite player:

“As part of Sceptic joining as ambassador, Team Whistle has announced the launch of their Twitch channel. Sceptic will stream for 3 hours every Monday from 4 pm – 7 pm ET on the Whistle Twitch channel. On each stream, Sceptic will give viewers an opportunity to play with or against him in Fortnite or Call of Duty.”

Sceptic’s Fortnite History

Many Fortnite fans will recognize Sceptic. He had a great run alongside Cody “Clix” Conrod back in July of 2019 at the Fortnite World Cup. At the time, Clix and Sceptic were both members of the Misfits Gaming Fortnite roster. The two finished in 35th place overall, pocketing $50K USD each. Sceptic then moved onto Luminosity Gaming before becoming a free agent.

“Partnering with Team Whistle gives me the opportunity to grow my fanbase and find new ways to engage with them,” said Fortnite Pro Griffin “Sceptic” Spikoski. “I’m excited to share my gaming experience, background and knowledge with people my age and encourage them to know that with hard work and dedication they can do anything they set their minds to.”

Team Whistle Director of Content Partnerships and Talent Josh Millan too spoke in regards to the sports and entertainment company.

Team Whistle’s overarching goal is to grow its presence in esports. They have already established an Exploring Esports video series featuring Sceptic and a reality series on Quibi revolved around FaZe Clan finding its next star.

Similar to Fortnite World Cup Champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, Twitch star Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Sceptic has also released a line of merchandise. He continues to make waves in Fortnite ahead of Chapter 2 – Season 4.
