Fortnite: How to Unlock Heart’s Desire Wrap for Free

Fortnite gives back to the community following multiple recent server issues.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is well underway, with millions of players enjoying the newest significant update. Epic Games pulled out all the stops this time around, introducing a new map, weapons and mechanics. While this season has been an objectively fun experience, server issues have been more abundant than ever.

The game has suffered several outages of late, leaving players in wait while Epic sorted out the problem. Epic eventually resolved the issues and compensated anyone who struggled through the server mishaps. Today, anyone who logged into Fortnite between January 27 and February 3 will receive a complimentary cosmetic Wrap, and we have the information you’ll need to collect the item.

How to Claim Free “Heart’s Desire” Wrap

Not much is required from the player’s end to unlock the Heart’s Desire Wrap. Those that logged in during the time frame explained above will receive the Wrap the next time you open Fortnite. There’ll be a message that states, “Here’s a special gift as thanks for your patience during our recent game outages last week!”

Obtaining the item requires little effort, so be sure to log into Fortnite when you have a chance. Epic Games did not explain whether the Wrap expires if you fail to claim it within a certain amount of time. Those who did not load into Fortnite between January 27 and February 3 might have the opportunity to purchase the Wrap from Fortnite’s Item Shop in the future.

That covers everything you need to know about unlocking the Heart’s Desire Wrap for free in Fortnite Battle Royale. Chapter 3 Season 1 is currently in full force and will conclude on March 19. Check out some of our other Fortnite-related content to stay up to date!
