Fortnite: How To Register For G2 Esports €20K Get The Cash Cup

ESTNN breaks down the upcoming Get The Cash Cup tournament presented by G2 Esports.

The reigning esports organization of the year — G2 Esports — has announced a massive Fortnite Battle Royale tournament for European players. Aptly named “Get The Cash Cup,” G2 is putting up a €20K prize pool for members of the EU region. Trio teams will battle for some money and bragging rights in arguably Fortnite’s most challenging region.

We can expect all of the elite talents such as Martin “100T MrSavage” Foss Andersen, Benjy “NRG benjyfishy” Fish, Tai “GUILD TaySon” Starčič and more to compete. Today, ESTNN will break down the prize pool distribution, scoring system, format and all methods viewers can use to watch the tournament.

Format & Schedule

G2’s Get The Cash Cup is a trio tournament, open to players of all Arena Mode ranks. Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether G2 is restricting it only to European players, so we’ll update when that information becomes available. However, we do know that there will be two open qualifier rounds, followed by the semi-finals and the finals.

Here is a complete format breakdown:

Heat 1

  • Six matches
  • Three-hour session
  • The top 66 teams advance to the Semi-Finals
  • Those who fail to qualify can participate in Heat 2
