Fortnite: FNCS Grand Royale Qualifiers Recap & Results

Find out which trios in Europe, NA East and NA West have advanced to the FNCS Grand Royale.

Qualified competitive Fortnite players endured perhaps the most relentless of tournaments in this past weekend’s FNCS Grand Royale Qualifiers. Sporting an impressive $5M USD prize pool, trios worldwide were tasked with navigating a format that confused many from the outset. To summarize it the best we can, any player that qualified for a set lobby round in a recent Fortnite Champion Series earned the right to create a team for the Grand Royale.

What ensued over the last 48 hours was a marathon for some and a sprint for others. The tournament began with the Load Session—a standard format where the top 33 teams in each region advanced to the Victory Path. Those that finished outside of the top 33 moved down to the Reload Path. Teams in the Reload Path had to manage a top 8 in one of three sessions to qualify for the Victory Path.

A total of 32 teams would ultimately earn a Victory Royale in the Victory Path, pushing them through to next weekend’s Grand Royale Finals. One trio in each region would grab the 33rd and final spot based on consistency points. It was a challenging week for Fortnite’s top players as they hope to close out Chapter 2 – Season 8 with more money in their accounts.

Today, ESTNN provides you with a complete list of teams in Europe, NA East and NA West that will move to the Grand Royale Finals. Join us as we recap the weekend that was.

All regions involved had their share of dramatic moments and unexpected triumphs. However, Europe, NA East and NA West led all of the headlines as usual. It would be challenging to recap all 32-plus matches, so we’ve included reactions from most of the teams involved. Most came down to intense heal-offs where the trio with more heals and precise aim triumphed. Remember, all 32 teams that reach the Grand Royale Finals needed a singular Victory Royale in the Victory Path portion of the tournament.
