Fortnite Champion Series Week Two Recap and Results

The qualifiers in week two of the Fortnite Champion Series is official. Professional Fortnite trios played for nine total hours over two days to earn a spot in the Grand Finals. Last week, we saw names such as Clix, Bugha, and Snood qualify from NA East. Check out our week one recap to see if your favorite player managed to make it. Following the same format as last week, the top eight players at the end of the third session from NA East, NA West, Brazil, and Europe. The regions of the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania see only four trios from each week qualify for the Grand Finals.

NA East

The star-studded region in competitive Fortnite is typically NA East. We have seen the same general names performing well in trio professional scrims, and it is always interesting to see how this translates to crunch time. Familiar Fortnite pros, Zayt and Saf cleaned up with week while qualifying with zyfa. Additionally, SEN Aspect, SEN Animal and envy bucke finished in third place for the third session. Quite possibly the story of the tournament is the success of Tfue, Cloakzy and 72hrs. Their persistence to compete in professional scrims scripting their impressive performance in session three. Europe

The European region is usually a good spot to see some young players dominate their competition. In this sense, we saw the trio of Mongraal, mitr0 and benjyfishy put on a clinic. Their 151 point performance vaulted them 38 points ahead of second place. There is almost no doubt who the team to beat is. Some Solary team members qualified for the Grand Finals as well. Airwaks and Nikof are household names in European Fortnite, so not surprising to see them make the cut. See the remaining results below:

NA West

With eight trios making it to the FCS Grand Finals each week, NA West can now showcase more of its talent. The World Cup qualifiers earlier this year usually only provided one or two spots as NA West had a lesser amount of players. The team of ThaiTanks, Thomuss and wavyjacob played extremely well as a follow-up to last week. They had 118 points heading into their final match, and rallied for a twenty-eight point performance. One of the more underrated regions is Brazil, and they always seem to bring it. The top trip this week was DC MysticK, EX Febas FAVELA and EX Nogz FAVELA. They amassed eighty eliminations all together and three Victory Royales. Elimination master, kiing of Argentina, put up an impressive sixty-four eliminations along with his trio securing them a top eight finish this week. Brazil is always live for upsets when it comes down to it and these teams will move on to Grand Finals:

Middle East

Although not as well-known of a region, the Middle East has a surprisingly deep talent pool. The team of KLOPZ, Kappa YT and Feezle secured their second first place finish in the FCS. This team seems to turn up at the right time. They played consistently with several double-digit elimination games.
