Rocket League and Fortnite are teaming up for a cross-over of the ages!
Fortnite’s official Twitter account announced a partnership with Rocket League earlier today to celebrate the latter’s move to free-to-play status. Llama-Rama will offer different in-game items for both Rocket League and Fortnite players beginning on September 23. On that day, Rocket League will join the Epic Games Store, which sparked the Llama-Rama cross-promotion. Although the details are sparse, it appears that Fortnite players can earn those rewards by merely playing Rocket League after it arrives on the Epic Games Store.

Fortnite adds another popular game to its growing list of exciting cross-overs. Since releasing in 2017, Fortnite has partnered with DC Comics, Borderlands, John Wick, the NFL and even Marvel Comics in its latest season release. It’s not surprising to see Fortnite strike up a partnership with Rocket League. We expect to see Rocket League-themed character skins, gliders and harvesting tools in some fashion next week.
The official Fortnite Twitter account stated that more details would be available next week.
