A new survival action RPG is releasing in 2 days in early access, but will Endshrouded Dedicated Servers be available?
Even though the internet is buzzing with Palworld – and rightfully so, as the game is amazing – other great games are coming out as well. One is called Enshrouded, Keen Games’ new survival action RPG releasing on January 24th in Early Access on Steam, as well as PS5 and Xbox XS later on.
Enshrouded has already had a Closed Beta, and now has a Demo available, but as the multiplayer game is entering Early Access, one question is on the mind of both current and future players: will Enshrouded have dedicated servers?
Enshrouded Dedicated Servers – Will Enshrouded have them?
Even though the Demo of the game didn’t have dedicated servers, the Closed Beta did, and the developers assured everyone that the Early Access version will have them too. The reason why the Demo didn’t have dedicated servers is a limitation of the Demo and not the game, so you don’t have to worry.
Dedicated servers are important because it means that players can play the game own their own servers without the host being present and their save files and world state depending on the owner of the server. In the Demo, you could only play while the host was present, and if his files were corrupted somehow, you would lose all your progress.
Enshrouded is a survival and crafting game set in an open world made out of voxel. You can play with up to 15 other players and survive in the world, build amazing structures and clear dungeons. Even though Palworld is all there is at the moment, Enshrouded also looks very fun with it’s Soulslike combat and gritty feel. With the skill and gear system, you can mould your character into anything you want, you only need the right items. The game is launching tomorrow, so don’t miss out on playing Enshrouded between Palworld sessions!
