The RWF came to an explosive end after the World's best guilds battle it out. But, after 19 days, we found an RWF 2022 winner.
It's the longest RWF since the event became such a major event. With two full resets, Echo came out on top. Clocking in as the longest Mythic raid tier in modern WoW history, SoF has been an epic raid tier. With at least four massive boss hurdles during the race, guilds had to push through a lot of walls to progress. With the race going so long, all the top guilds had some sort of disruption. Regardless, the big two were able to maintain a top level of competition throughout, as they battled away. The final week was where the race seemed to change, with a second reset bringing Echo closer to Liquid. It was Echo that got us into the secret phase, and they never looked back after that. With Liquid struggling to break into the third phase, Echo had free rein.
For Liquid, it was a somber end to the RWF as they struggle to deal with burnout. With Echo hitting multiple new pulls, Liquid was stuck on around 15%. Max (Liquid GM & RL) would then announce on Twitter, that Liquid was heading home early. They would get back to raiding on Monday, however, to secure a kill prior to resetting. Max also took to his stream to explain it.

said this on stream but we're stopping after dinner tonight and flying home tomorrow. We'll finish the race strong on Monday and onwards if necessary, but right now we're all burnt to a crisp.
