EA FC 24 Leaks: Fire & Ice, Team of the Group Stage Details Emerge

The latest wave of EA FC 24 leaks supposedly gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming Fire & Ice and Team of the Group Stage events

EA Sports has kept EA FC 24 fans engaged with a myriad of promos. The ongoing Ultimate Dynasties event has been a fan favorite so far, introducing a host of exciting new cards along with the Midfield Dynasty Evolution. The fun doesn’t end here, however, as more events are on the horizon for FC 24 lovers. The most recent batch of EA FC 24 leaks has unveiled details about two upcoming promos in the game – Fire & Ice, also known as the Versus promo, and Team of the Group Stage. Here’s a rundown of the leaked information.

EA FC 24 Leaks: The Versus

The EA FC 24 Fire & Ice, aka the EA FC 24 Versus event, is reportedly in the pipeline. As of writing, EA Sports did not confirm the promo, but insiders say it could go live on December 22, 2023, as the Ultimate Team winter promo.

The leaks also suggest that the event could mirror the FIFA 22 The Versus event, with featured players getting two different types of cards. One will be the Fire variant, and the other will be an Ice one. The stats will be better than the player's gold card stats. Both the Fire and Ice variants are expected to have the same overall rating. That said, there will be slight differences in key stats.

Take a look at this FIFA 22 Versus card, for example. The Fire and Ice versions come with the same overall stats. When you take a closer look at the key stats, however, you can spot the difference. The Ice variant has better shooting stats, while the Fire card has superior passing attributes.

EA FC 24 Leaks: Team of the Group Stage

The final round of group-stage matches in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League are set to conclude this week. EA Sports will announce the EA FC 24 Team of the Group Stage afterward as the next promo in the game. Leakers, however, have already given us hints about the upcoming campaign. While we recommend approaching this information with a reasonable degree of skepticism, the track record of the sources compels us to consider that the leaks might indeed be authentic.

The players highlighted in this promo are recognized as the standout performers throughout this season's three major UEFA competitions. They have excelled in different areas of the pitch for their respective teams against European oppositions, so goal contributions are not the only metric EA Sports has taken into consideration while putting together this team.

Kylian MBappe leads the EA FC 24 TOTGS pack with a 93 ST card. The Frenchman has netted five goals and bagged three assists in his first five Champions League appearances, so his inclusion comes as no surprise. Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala takes the next spot with a brilliant 90-rated CAM card. La Liga stars Antoine Griezmann, Joao Cancelo, and Jude Bellingham make up the remainder of the top five.

The EA FC 24 TOTGS will officially launch on Friday, December 15, at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM GMT. Players will be able to claim the TOTGS items by completing SBCs and objectives. We also expect EA Sports to roll out some new Evolutions as part of the TOTGS campaign.
