The Teams
The teams competing in the HCS Global Invitational are still to be determined. Tune in next weekend for the HCS 4K #3 Dreamhack Dallas Qualifier event.
Hosted by FaZe Clan, the top two NA teams and the first-place finishers from the EU/MX/ANZ regions will earn spots at the Global Invitational. The remaining 11 spots will go to the teams with the most HCS points. Eight teams from NA and three from the EU will join the Dreamhack Dallas Qualifier event winners.
Teams looking to sign up for the Dreamhack Dallas Qualifier event can do so now on FACEIT's website.
Tournament Format
The HCS Global Invitational will begin with Pool Play before shifting to a standard Champ bracket format.
4-Team pools will compete in Single Round Robin in a best-of-5 series. The top 2 teams of each pool advance to the Winners Bracket, and the third-place teams go to the Elimination Bracket. Teams that finish last in their pool face immediate elimination.
The 12 surviving teams will then play Double Elimination matches in a best-of-five series. The two teams that make it to the Grand Finals will clash in a final best-of-seven to determine the winner of the Global Invitational.
