DK vs KT Rolster Recap

Game 1

Both teams picked frontline support champs to headline their drafts, but despite DK's better teamfight potential, Kiin's playmaking potential on Ryze was going to be outmatched.

The start of the bo3 went extremely slow as both teams played it safe and saw no champion kills 13 minutes in. As a result, tower plates were high prio for DK and KT. Additionally, ShowMaker's teammates were able to build their Mythics faster, which gave them more momentum to take all 4 drakes, and a scary Elder dragon. By the end, there wasn't much Deft could to do defend their base from 4 KT members, who were low on health, but extremely high in lethality.

Game 2

KT's new comp put them in a good position during the laning phase, but it didn't stop Deft and Kellin from taking first blood during a scrap in the botlane. With summoner spells being burnt left and right, DK was staying in the lead until Bdd's team took the first dragon and closed the gold gap.

The next Mountain drake wasn't so easy to get, however. In an intense fight, Deft's team forced Cuzz and co. to retreat after baiting a ton of their cooldowns in bot river. The game stayed close even after 20 minutes, but it was clear that ShowMaker's Ahri was going to be outgunned once Bdd finished building Deathcap.

Afterwards, a massive teamfight erupted for the first Baron, which Rolster claimed. Afterwards, DK was getting chased back to their base, until ShowMaker and Canna turned and found a play that solidified their team's dominance in the game. With stacked chakrams on Aphelios, Deft and co. flipped the script in a scrappy clash that gave them a victorious ace, a dragon take and the best teamfight in the series.

Impressively, Aiming's team still stayed ahead in gold. but with no flash and no ult, DK cleanly claimed the next Baron and even stole the 5th drake before heading mid. There, both teams clashed in another incredible slugfest that ended in a 2-for-2. But a surprising team wipe by Bdd gave them enough time to destroy tier 2 towers and counter DK's Baron minions. Eventually, a decisive teamfight was won by Kt thanks to Kiin building Guardian Angel, which let his team make a bee line towards DK's nexus.
