One of the highlights are the boss experiences you can find dotted around. The MW3 Warlord Zombies encounter is a great example of this.
Knowing how to defeat MW3 Zombies Warlord is a bit tricky though. The character isn’t the easiest to find. You’ll need to be playing in a specific way to encounter it. You’ll also need to get kitted out for one of the tougher parts of the game. Taking out Warlord in MW3 is a challenge, but as a key mission further into the mode, most will have to tackle it.
If you want to make sure you’re best equipped to do that, this is how you can find and take down Warlord in MW3 Zombies.
Where to Find Warlord MW3 Zombies
Before you can actually take the boss down, you’ve got to find him. The Warlord boss is in the Legacy Fortress, which is in Popov Power. Specifically, it’s in the Middle Threat Zone. However, actually getting to this exact spot can be tricky. If you don’t do it right, you might be shut out. Once you’re in Zombies mode this should be your plan of action to get the Fortress keycard and find Warlord.
- Head to a Mercenary or Mercenary Conboy to get a Stronghold Keycard or buy one.
- Go to a Mercenary Stronghold and enter with your card
- Get rid of the Mercenaries
- Search for a highlighted safe.
- Interact with it to start drilling
- Keep the area safe during drilling
- Collect the Fortress Keycard
- Fight your way back out
Those are the basic steps to get the keycard to get inside. You’ll need to take on quite a few enemies to get back out. There’s some decent loot coming from the safe too though.
Even once you’re done, getting prepped for the MW3 Zombies Warlord fight is a bit of another matter. You’ll want to get the weapons upgraded to a level where you can take on higher-end enemies. You’ll encounter a lot if you’re trying to defeat Warlord MW3 Zombies. What you’re looking for will vary depending on your preferences. However, stock up on ammo, armor, and everything else you’ll need for a tough fight. Maybe not the time to be searching out those MW3 Zombies Easter Eggs! It might also be helpful to get something before you head in to deal with a chopper.
Getting to Warlord in MW3 Zombies
Even with the keycard collected, there are some extra steps you’ll need to keep in mind if you want to get into Fortress and take out Warlord successfully. This is the method to get inside with the least resistance.
- Open the Fortress Door
- Do not enter straight away, instead move to a safe position and take out the early Mercenaries so you can move inside without panic
- Once in, be wary of traps. Take it room by room.
- With all the guards dead, the building might call in a Chopper in. Take cover or deal with it.
- Move through to the second story of the building once clear.
- You’ll have to take out quite a few mercenaries along the way but try to do so patiently and take care of your health.
- Before going into new rooms, check for traps
- Once at the end of the second floor, you can head into a room containing the Warlord. Then it’s just a simple matter of eliminating him.
That’s how you can find the MW3 Zombie Warlord. So far, you’ve likely come up against a pretty tough battle with some of the game’s enemies. You’ll have to take out the Warlord too, but even getting to this stage is quite a challenge. With the right plan to get inside, you can make things much easier to take out Warlord in MW3 Zombies.
Taking Out the Stronghold and How to Defeat Warlord MW3 Zombies
One of the biggest challenges to defeat Warlord MW3 Zombies is clearing the Stronghold itself. There are a few areas that you’ll have to keep an eye on. One of the biggest is traps. You’ll need to be in the habit of checking for traps regularly.
Another is keeping an eye on all mercenaries. They will flank you and come from bad angles. Try to keep an eye all around you so none of them can be taken completely by surprise. These might be tough enemies to a certain extent, although it's more the culmination of having so many coming at you and traps limiting movement.
If you take care to deal with each area as it comes, you can make things a lot easier. One of the worst things to do is to rush in and set off multiple traps and have tons of mercenaries coming at once. Slow things down, take out traps and be careful of enemies. Utility items can come in handy too. You’ll need a loadout to take out the strongholds if your main objective is to defeat Warlord MW3 Zombies instead of earning Zombies camo challenges.
What do You Get for Killing MW3 Zombies Warlord
Once you’ve taken out the Warlord in MW3 Zombies, you’ll get some rewards. One of the nicer ones is the Tactical Negotiator Shotgun. It’s got unique attachments which make it a flamethrower shotgun. Really different, and not something you can make even with the best Shotgun loadouts. Another reward is 3-plate armor which can help your defence. However, the bigger reward might be the Conqueror Achievement.
If you’re looking to complete everything MW3 has to offer, then taking him out once is a must. This is a tougher fight, but if you prepare well you should be able to get through the stronghold.
