Best Bailu Honkai Star Rail Builds in 1.0

These are the best Bailu Honkai Star Rail builds from Light Cones to teammates in version 1.0.

The best healer you can hope to pull right now can be a serious game changer.

Bailu

Bailu 2

Bailu is a Vidyadhara (dragon person) from Xianzhou. Though you don't meet her until the later portion of the 1.0 story content, if you get lucky enough she can be a solid team member throughout the game. Her multi-partner healing ability makes her thrive in boss battles where you team needs to be constantly rotating through their damage abilities to chip away. Given that she's a 5-star character, you've got just a few options to pull her.

The first method for trying to pull Bailu is through the “Butterfly on Swordtip” Event Warp featuring Seele. After every 89 pulls, the 90th is guaranteed to be a 5-star character with a 50% chance of it being Seele. Because of Seele taking up 50% of the odds, this is the far less reliable way to pull Bailu. The more reliable way will take time (or money) but will be worth it in the end. After 300 pulls from the Stellar Warp (Regular Warp) you will be able to choose a 5-star character to receive. It you're using a high offense team that Natasha's healing just can't keep up with, you may want to consider Bailu as your choice.

Abilities

Bailu

  • Diagnostic Kick (Basic ATK)
    • Deals Lightning DMG equal to 50%-130% of Bailu's ATK to a single enemy.
  • Singing Among Clouds (Skill)
    • Heals a single ally for 7.8%-13.65% of Bailu's Max HP Plus 78-399.75. Bailu then heals random allies 2 time(s). After each healing, HP restored from the next healing is reduced by 15%.
  • Felicitous Thunderleap (Ultimate)
    • Heals all allies for 9%-15.75% of Bailu's Max HP plus 90-461.25. Bailu applies Invigoration to allies that are not already Invigorated. For those already Invigorated, Bailu extends the duration of their Invigoration by 1 turn. The effect of Invigoration can last for 2 turn(s). This effect cannot stack.
  • Gourdful of Elixir (Talent)
    • After an ally with Invigoration is hit, restores the ally's HP for 3.6%-6.3% of Bailu's Max HP plus 36-184.5. This effect can trigger 2 time(s). When an ally receives a killing blow, they will not be knocked down. Bailu immediately heals the ally for 12%-21% of Bailu's Max HP plus 120-615 HP. This effect can be triggered 1 time per battle.
  • Saunter in the Rain (Technique)
    • After using Technique, at the start of the next battle, all allies are granted Invigoration for 2 turn(s).

Light Cones

Time Waits For No One

Time Waits for No One (5-star)

Increases the wearer's Max HP and Outgoing Healing by 12/15/18/21/24%. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes additional DMG equal to 50/62.5/75/87.5/100% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer's, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur 1 time per turn.

Any boost to Bailu's healing is value worth having, and the additional DMG boost for teammates is a perfect cherry on top.

Post Op Conversation

Post-Op Conversation (4-Star)

Increases Energy Regeneration Rate of its wearer by 8/10/12/14/16% and increases Outgoing Healing when they use their Ultimate by 12/15/18/21/24%.

A boost to only Ultimate healing may seem a bit lackluster, but this Light Cone can significantly increase how fast the Ultimate is recharged, giving your team more frequent and consistent group heals and Invigoration.

Cornucopia

Cornucopia (3-Star)

When the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate, their Outgoing Healing increases by 12/15/18/21/24%.

This will be the easiest to Superimpose all the way up to Superimposition V, making it maybe the most valuable in the group. It simply takes the healing stat of “Time Waits for No One” and makes it its own lower level Light Cone.

Relics

Passerby of Wandering Cloud

Passerby of Wandering Cloud (Artifact)

2-Pc: Increases Outgoing Healing by 10%.

4-Pc: At the beginning of the battle, immediately recovers 1 Skill Point.

For obvious reasons, an increase in healing is a great boost for Bailu. Not so mention an extra Skill Point to start with to make for easy early healing during a string of battles.

Fleet of the Ageless

Fleet of the Ageless (Ornament)

2-Pc: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies' ATK increases by 8%.

By increasing Bailu's Max HP, you essentially boost her her healing by means of her Outgoing Healing being linked to her Max HP.

Teammates

Icon

Seele

Seele is pretty much the Ultimate single target DMG dealer right now. Being one of two Quantum characters, and the only 5-star one at that, she's an easy choice to pump Bailu's healing into while she gets her Weakness Breaks, kills, and Ultimate off. She has extremely low base DEF, so she could use all the support and top-offs she can get.

Icon 1

March 7th

March 7th having the ability to Freeze enemies on Weakness break and with her Ultimate frees up a lot of time for Bailu to get off a turn or two of free healing. Even when she isn't in a position the Weakness Break and enemy, her Skill of adding a large shield to a teammate can provide double coverage in the case that Bailu doesn't have her Ultimate, and multiple teammates need healing. March 7th is a well rounded Support to the Support.
