Revival announced its 2020 roster three months before the new season of Overwatch Contenders Trials. The lineup is entirely new except for the tank duo and includes highly anticipated players such as Becca “Aspen” Rukavina and Francine “Fran” Vo.

Revival is a North American Contenders team, created on June 11th following Mayhem Academy’s disbandment. As the new season of Overwatch Contenders Trials is coming soon, the team reveals its new roster for 2020.

Tanks

Siarhei “Bogur” Alekau is the main tank for Revival. This Bulgarian player, announced in his national team for the Overwatch World Cup 2019, already played two seasons of Overwatch Contenders.

Joining Bogur in the front line is Tim “Manneten” Bylund. The former Florida Mayhem and Mayhem Academy player takes the off-tank spot. His experience in the Overwatch League and in the Overwatch World Cup, where he placed 3rd with Team Sweden two years in a row, is a valuable addition to a Contenders team welcoming new faces on the professional scene.

DPS

The damage duo for Revival is new to the Contenders scene. Jack “Reyzr” joins in as a flex DPS, alongside Aspire, a hitscan player who peaked rank 3 DPS behind San Francisco Shock’s Minho "Architect" Park and Jay "sinatraa" Won, winners of the Overwatch League Season 2.

Support

The most anticipated announce in this roster reveal is the support duo: the streamers Becca “Aspen” Rukavina and Francine “Fran” Vo group up for the first time in a Contenders Trials team.

Becca “Aspen” Rukavina is a former Odyssey member and will play as the main healer for Revival. She mainly plays Mercy, Brigitte and Lucio.

Francine “Fran” Vo is a flex support known for her skill on Ana, Zenyatta and Baptiste. Vo is also an official streamer for Atlanta Reign. Joining Revival shouldn’t affect her deal with the Overwatch League team, as she is not affiliated with another organization or part of an academy team.

Revival is a team of upcoming talents backed up by more experienced players. The healing duo of Aspen and Fran is one of the fan most wanted association in the Overwatch T2 scene and their heroes synergy will allow the rest of the team to perform at their highest level.
