How to Watch Amirdrassil Race to World First

Amirdrassil Race to World First (RWF) is here, and it's set to be a special raid tier. With Amirdrassil the last raid of the expansion, it was all to play for.

With the arrival of Dragonflight Season 3, World of Warcraft gets its third raid of the expansion. The release of Amirdrassil continues the formula of Normal and Heroic releasing the same week as Mythic. With Guilds from all over the globe competing for the title, we'll take a look at those looking to claim the title. From the current holder's Team Liquid, to the EU's main contenders Echo. But, are there some outsiders with a shot at glory?

Amirdrassil Race to World First – Who are the Contenders

Team Liquid: A huge win in Aberrus saw Team Liquid reclaim their title from Echo of the EU. Now, with Amirdrassil the final raid of the expansion, it's all on the line for the NA guild

Echo: Echo fell short in Aberrus, so they'll be looking to reclaim that title in Amirdrassil. For now, the RWF title has been fairly back and forth between the two guilds, but with this the last raid tier before the end of the expansion, it's a big one to claim.

Method: Method has placed itself back in the top 3 of WoW raiding guilds after another successful top 3 placement in Season 2. Method is now in a prime spot to push for an RWF title. So, what can we expect from Amirdrassil? Well, you have to assume the goal is to win it all, but consistently being in the top 3 is a big goal. Though, I assume they'd bite your hand off to claim the #1 spot in the EU.

Best of the rest

Europe: FatSharkYes and Germany guild, Aversion, are the two most likely from Europe to make the step up. The loss of Pieces in Dragonflight weakened the pool of active rosters, and it's unlikely anyone will step up.

NA: Liquid has carried the region for a while now, but that appears to have inspired others to step up. Expect to see BDGG push hard once again, as NA looks to add a second major guild to the RWF. NA is also likely to be home to a few guilds who “YOLO” into Mythic early to take an early title. Back in Sepulcher, we say The Early Shift did just that.

Asia: Asia guilds typically get off to a slow start, mostly because of the delayed start. However, if the raid tier runs long, don't be surprised if we see a few Asia guilds climbing the ranks late on.
