What are Lies of P status effects?
As you can guess from the name, Lies of P status effects are adverse conditions that can be imposed both on opponents and on your character. These status effects can be imposed either by using certain weapons that are present in the game or thanks to the environment around us. Below, here are all the status effects present in the game.
Overheat
When your character or enemies are hit with fire, this is the status effect they will experience. As a result, this means that you will continue to take fire damage for the duration of the effect. Additionally, your Guard Regain will decrease, monsters will have slower health recovery, and the higher your fire resistance the slower the Overheat gauge's charge speed.
Electric Shock
When both you and your enemies are dealing with damage from Electric Blitz, this is when you will experience this status effect. When this happens, Electric Blitz and normal attacks will deal more damage to you for the duration of the effect. Additionally, your Fable meter will continually drain, which will reduce your attack options in combat.
Shock
It should not be confused with Electric Shock, as these are two different states. When you or your enemies experience this effect, your stamina recovery will be significantly reduced. Until the effect wears off or you cure it, your ability to move and attack will be limited very drastically.
Decay
If you will take too much acid damage in un lasso di tempo ravvicinato, sperimenterete questo tipo di stato. L'effetto di questo stato è quello di causare danni da acido in modo costante fino a quando l'effetto non svanisce. Inutile dire che, come tutti gli altri stati, anche questo andrà ad incidere sul vostro gameplay.
Corruption
As the name suggests, if corruption damage is continuously inflicted on you, you will experience this type of state. This is a state that behaves very similarly to poisoning, meaning your health will continuously drop until the state takes effect. As a result, we advise you to avoid this state whenever possible as it can complicate things further.
Break
This state means that the amount of health that can be regenerated using Pulse Cells is drastically reduced, meaning that they are not as effective as under normal conditions. This is a state that can cause a lot of trouble, especially if you are already low on health and are in an area where there are many enemies. Our advice is to wait for the effect to wear off before treating yourself, unless it is strictly necessary.
Disruption
This is the state from which you should most stay away as, once its bar is filled, it will be instant death. If you find yourself in an area where you are realizing that the effect bar is filling up quickly, our advice is to retrace your steps and wait for the bar to empty before proceeding if you don't want to be killed in the process.
How to cure Lies of P status effects
After having described in detail all the Lies of P status effects, explaining how they are obtained and what their consequences are, the time has come to get to the heart of this guide and explain how to cure them. We have already said that you can wait for their effect to wear off naturally, but there are cases in which it is better to intervene promptly and treat the effect. To do this, however, you will need some items that can be found in different places while you are exploring the game world, or they can be purchased from Pulcinella at Hotel Krat. Below, here are the items you will need to find and/or purchase:
- Attribute Purification Ampoule: This item allows you to cure Overheat, Electric Shock, Decay, and Corruption states
- Special Purification Ampoule: This item allows you to cure Shock, Break, and Disruption states
- Attribute Resistance Ampoule: this item allows you to increase resistance to Overheat, Electric Shock, Decay, and Corruption states
- Special Resistance Ampoule: this item allows you to increase resistance to Shock, Break, and Disruption states
To make use of these objects, all you have to do is open the menu and scroll down to the Upper Belt or Lower Belt items, then click on an empty slot. At this point, a screen will open where you can see all the items you have at your disposal ready for use. Search for what you want and click on it to equip it to the belt. At this point, you can exit the menu and use your D-Pad to select the slot to which you have assigned the item so that it is ready to use quickly and easily when you need it.
How to afflict Lies of status effects
As we have already mentioned at the beginning of this guide, it is possible to afflict status effects in two ways in Lies of P: by making use of objects that are capable of afflicting these states or thanks to the use of weapons that we can find in the game world. The first method allows us to make use of Grindstones, Abrasives, or throwable items that we can use against enemies. The second method, however, allows us to use weapons that have intrinsic elemental properties that are capable of afflicting the Lies of P status effects in some shots.
