Activision has recently released the Zombies game mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Fans have been waiting for the Zombies game mode since the game’s release and the devs have surely delivered. There are major significant changes to the game mode and it is significantly different from the traditional Zombies mode. There has been a lot of positive feedback from fans about the new mode. The open-world factor with extraction-based mechanics has given the game mode a new taste. The addition of some features has enriched the game and has allowed players to have their unique way of playing.

One of the tasks that are given to players in the Zombies mode story is collecting Essence Samples. This is one of the features introduced in the new DMZ-inspired theme, and many players have had trouble on finding these samples. Since they are unfamiliar with this untraditional Zombies mode, we have come up with a list of all the Essence Sample locations in the game mode.

All Essence of Aether Sample Locations in CoD: MW3 Zombies

Essence of Aether Samples are items that the players are tasked to complete as a part of the story in MW3 Zombies mode’s story. This task is specifically given in Act 2, during the Mother of Invention Mission. Since many players are having trouble with finding the sample locations, we have compiled all the locations in one place for all players to see.

Essence Sample 1 – Shahin Manor and Hadiqa Farms

This first sample is situated between Shahin Manor and Hadiqa Farms. It is in the normal colored zone and is next to the bridge between the two locations. It is inside a small building which is in between two larger ones. The sample is placed on top of a desk inside.

Essence Sample 2 – Seaport District and Levin Resort

This Essence Sample is found in between the Seaport District and Levin Resort. It is just inside the orange zone, next to the highway leaving the Seaport District into Levin Resort. There is a group of small buildings next to the highway. The sample will be on a table which is on the first floor of the specified building.

Essence Sample 3 – Zaravan City

The last sample is also in the normal zone, inside Zaravan City. It is quite close to the orange zone. If you open up the map in the game, the sample is in the building that is to the left side of the text that says “Zaravan City.” When you get in the building the sample can be found in a shop right next to the cash register.
