5. Darkest Dungeon
Darkest Dungeon is an RPG that has strong roguelike components inside. Our character receives a letter from a distant relative called the Ancestor who, in the course of his research, discovers that beneath his family estate, there is a magical portal. Thanks to a ritual and the use of an ancient relic, the Ancestor manages to open this portal which, however, releases a dark force that corrupts all the inhabitants of the castle and the nearby village. The themes of the game are very dark, macabre, and gory, also resulting in gothic horror. The creatures are clearly inspired by those of the works of H. P. Lovecraft, as well as the presence of madness. Since the title also boasts a strong roguelike component, all the power-ups that accumulate throughout the story will be lost in case of death. If you love RPGs and roguelikes, as well as gothic and dark themes, Darkest Dungeon is the game for you.
4. Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG. The game is set in the world of Teyvat, divided into different nations governed by an Archon who is a symbol of an element and an ideal that all his people adore. The protagonist of the game is driven by strong greed which, if he doesn't show much attention, will backfire. It's not a simple game, so it's certainly not to be recommended to newcomers to the genre. In any case, once you manage to get in tune with the game mechanics, it will be able to kidnap you and accompany you toward the end of the adventure.
2. Disco Elysium
In Disco Elysium players take on the role of a detective who boasts in his arsenal a powerful skill system that allows him to get the better of interrogations. The game allows a wide freedom of choice, with different paths to take that will lead you to be a hero or a real disaster. The choice is up to you. Disco Elysium is a different RPG from the others on the list, much less aimed at combat, but more, instead, at solving investigations and exchanging dialogues between the various characters. The narrative of the game is very deep, even in the topics covered, so it is not recommended for a very young audience.

Divinity: Original Sin II is, probably, among those on this list, the one of the most classic RPGs. It puts you in the condition to choose between several different classes to be able to start the game, with consequent abilities created ad-hoc for the chosen class.
