With Dragonflight Season 1 comes a wealth of new PvE and PvP goodness. Here, let's take a look at the Mythic+ Affix rotation.
So, what's the damage for Dragonflight Season one? Do we have an evil week? Will the healers face a grievous wound? Let's not waste any time and take a look at the first 10-weeks of Dragonflight below:
Contents
Dragonflight Season 1 10-Week Affix Rotation
Week | Affix 1 From Level 2+ |
Affix 2 From Level 4+ |
Affix 3 From Level 7+ |
Seasonal Affix From Level 10+ |
1 | Fortified | Raging | Quaking | Thundering |
2 | Tyrannical | Bursting | Grievous | Thundering |
3 | Fortified | Sanguine | Volcanic | Thundering |
4 | Tyrannical | Raging | Storming | Thundering |
5 | Fortified | Spiteful | Grievous | Thundering |
6 | Tyrannical | Sanguine | Explosive | Thundering |

8 | Tyrannical | Spiteful | Quaking | Thundering |
9 | Fortified | Bursting | Explosive | Thundering |
10 | Tyrannical | Bolstering | Volcanic | Thundering |
One change for Dragonflight is that each affix will appear once on the two base affixes. No longer will we see an affix appear for just Fortified or Tyrannical. Also, no affix will appear in back-to-back weeks. The exception is, of course, Thundering, which will appear every week on a 10+ key.
What are the Dragonflight Season 1 Seasonal Affix, Thundering
Enemies have 5% more health. While in combat, players are periodically overcharged with primal power from Raszageth's unending storm. This power comes with great risk, and failure to discharge it quickly can have stunning consequences.
A new seasonal affix always brings some interesting discourse and chat in the community. If you want to take a look at a review of the Thundering Affix, Tettles has you covered below.
What does each Dragonflight Affix do
Level 2+ affixes – rotated weekly between the two – starting with Fortified in Season 1
Fortified – Non-boss enemies have 20% more health and inflict up to 30% increased damage.
Tyrannical – Bosses have 30% more health. Bosses and their minions inflict up to 15% increased damage.
Level 4+ affixes –
Raging – Non-boss enemies enrage at 30% health remaining, dealing 50% increased damage until defeated. Druids and Hunters can remove this effect.
Bursting – When slain, non-boss enemies explode, causing all players to suffer damage over 4 sec. This effect stacks. Damage can be immune by full immunity defensive abilities.
Sanguine – When slain, non-boss enemies leave behind a lingering pool of ichor that heals their allies and damages players. The pool remains for 20 seconds.
Spiteful – Fiends rise from the corpses of non-boss enemies and pursue random players. Mobs HP scales with key level. Mobs can be stunned and slowed.
Bolstering – When any non-boss enemy dies, its death cry empowers nearby allies, temporarily increasing their maximum health by 15% and damage by 20%. Enemies who die will buff other nearby enemies who are in combat with Bolster, causing them to gain 20% health and deal 20% additional damage. This can stack multiple times.
Level 7 + Affixes
Quaking – Periodically, all players emit a shockwave, inflicting damage and interrupting nearby allies. This will happen at 20-second intervals throughout the dungeon
Grievous – Injured players suffer increasing damage over time until healed. Damage scales with key level.
Volcanic – While in combat, enemies periodically cause gouts of flame to erupt beneath the feet of distant players. This will likely avoid melee and tanks and will mainly land on ranged DPS and healers.
Storming – While in combat, enemies periodically summon damaging whirlwinds. Players are given a brief indication of where the Storming will land prior to it starting.
When will Dragonflight Season 1 start
Dragonflight Season 1 will begin on December 12th, alongside the launch of the new raid. The season will run for 10 weeks when we expect Season 2 to start.
